Role- Test Specialist Ep- 4-7yrs Shifts- US Shift 5:30 pm to 2:30 am IST Work mode- Hybrid Skills- GIS Application Testing, API Testing • Analyse business and technical requirements for GIS applications and design comprehensive test strategies and test cases to achieve optimal coverage during Agile sprint cycles. • Design, execute, and maintain integration tests across GIS platforms, APIs, databases, and third-party systems. • Perform end-to-end validation of GIS workflows, including data ingestion, processing, map rendering, spatial analysis, reporting, and downstream integrations. • Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and Postman, with a primary focus on API and service-layer testing. • Validate GIS data integrity, accuracy, consistency, and transformation processes throughout the application lifecycle. • Test map-based user interfaces, geospatial services, web services, and location-enabled workflows. • Execute regression, functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing for GIS application releases. • Support GIS Run & Resiliency initiatives by validating application recovery, operational stability, failover capabilities, and post-incident fixes. • Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify root causes, troubleshoot defects, and verify resolutions. • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, requirement reviews, defect triage, and release readiness assessments. • Create and maintain test documentation, test execution reports, defect metrics, and quality dashboards. Drive continuous improvement in test automation, test coverage, and quality engineering practices.
