**About the Role** We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced **Global Payroll Specialist** with strong expertise in managing payroll operations across **Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, USA, India, and Australia** . The ideal candidate will ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing while partnering closely with HR, Finance, external payroll vendors, and local stakeholders. This role requires deep knowledge of country-specific payroll regulations, statutory compliance, taxation, benefits administration, and reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions. **Key Responsibilities** **Payroll Processing & Operations** - Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, USA, India, and Australia. - Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time, including salary, bonuses, commissions, benefits, and statutory deductions. - Review payroll inputs such as new hires, terminations, salary changes, and variable pay components. - Validate payroll reports and reconcile payroll registers prior to finalization. **Compliance & Statutory Management** - Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements in all supported countries. - Oversee timely filing and payment of payroll taxes, social security contributions, pension contributions, and other statutory remittances. - Stay updated with legislative changes across all jurisdictions and implement necessary process updates. - Support internal and external audits related to payroll. **Vendor & Stakeholder Management** - Collaborate with external payroll providers to ensure service accuracy and SLA adherence. - Act as the primary payroll point of contact for employees, HR Business Partners, Finance, and external agencies. - Escalate and resolve payroll discrepancies efficiently. **Reporting & Reconciliation** - Perform payroll-related reconciliations (GL, benefits, tax accounts). - Support monthly and year-end activities including P60 (Ireland), Jaaropgave (Netherlands), Lohnsteuerbescheinigung (Germany), W-2 (USA), Form 16 (India), and Payment Summaries/Single Touch Payroll reporting (Australia). - Provide payroll analytics and reports to Finance and leadership as required. **Process Improvement & Controls** - Maintain strong internal payroll controls and documentation. - Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve automation. - Ensure data integrity between HRIS, payroll systems, and accounting platforms. **Required Qualifications & Experience** - 4–8 years of hands-on payroll experience with multi-country payroll exposure. - Demonstrated expertise in payroll operations for **Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, USA, India, and Australia** . Strong knowledge of: - Income tax regulations and social security contributions in relevant countries - Statutory leave payments and employer obligations - Pension schemes and benefits taxation - Year-end payroll processes and reporting requirements - Experience working with global payroll vendors (e.g., ADP, Safeguard, TMF, Deel, etc.). - Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems. - Strong Excel skills and comfort working with payroll data and reconciliations. - High attention to detail and strong analytical skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. **Preferred Qualifications** - Bachelor of Commerce / MBA - Finance. - Experience in a high-growth, multinational SaaS or tech organization. - Knowledge of SOX controls and audit requirements. - Experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms. **Key Competencies** - Strong ownership and accountability - High level of confidentiality and integrity - Ability to manage multiple payroll cycles across time zones - Strong problem-solving and process-improvement mindset - Collaborative and cross-functional working style
