Electrical Design Engineer Bluestar Offroll | BMRCL Project \\Job Title:\\ Electrical Design Engineer \\Company:\\ Blue Star Limited – Offroll \\Project:\\ BMRCL (Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited) \\Location:\\ Bangalore \\Employment Type:\\ Offroll / Contract ### Job Description \\Key Responsibilities:\\ \\* Prepare electrical design and engineering drawings for BMRCL project requirements. \\* Develop and review electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLD), schematics, and wiring diagrams. \\* Design electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, cable routing, earthing, and related systems. \\* Coordinate with MEP, HVAC, civil, and other engineering teams to ensure proper integration of electrical services. \\* Review drawings and technical specifications and ensure compliance with project standards. \\* Prepare BOQ, material take-offs, and technical documentation. \\* Coordinate with site and project teams for design clarifications and modifications. \\* Attend design review meetings and incorporate client/consultant comments. \\* Ensure drawings and designs comply with applicable electrical codes, standards, and BMRCL project requirements. \\* Support site teams with technical inputs and resolve design-related issues. \\* Maintain proper documentation and update drawings based on project changes. ### Required Qualifications & Skills \\* \\Qualification:\\ Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. \\* \\Experience:\\ 3–8 years in electrical design/engineering. \\* Experience in \\MEP / infrastructure / metro / railway / commercial projects\\ will be preferred. \\* Proficiency in \\AutoCAD\\ is required. \\* Knowledge of electrical design software/tools and preparation of SLDs, layouts, and schematics. \\* Good knowledge of electrical systems, cable sizing, load calculations, earthing, lighting, and power distribution. \\* Knowledge of relevant electrical standards and safety requirements. \\* Good coordination and communication skills.
