Job description

Technical Skills Required Core Networking • Strong knowledge of: • TCP/IP, OSI model, DNS, DHCP • Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, Static) • Switching (VLAN, STP, trunking) Juniper Technologies • Hands-on experience with: • Junos OS • Juniper product families: • MX (Routing) • EX/QFX (Switching) • SRX (Firewall) • Knowledge of Junos CLI and troubleshooting commands Network Security • Firewall configuration (SRX/Palo Alto optional) • VPN (IPSec/SSL) • Basic IDS/IPS concepts Tools & Monitoring • Network monitoring tools (SolarWinds/Nagios/PRTG) • Packet analysis (Wireshark optional) Certifications (Preferred / Mandatory) • JNCIA / JNCIS (Juniper Certifications) • ITIL Foundation (good to have) • Comparable Cisco certification (CCNA) added advantage
