Walk- In Drive Interview | Team Leader - Chemo Day Care | Max Super Speciality Hospital, Sector 128 Noida Interview Details - Position : Team Leader - Chemo Day Care Date : 02/09/2026 Time : 09:00 AM - 12:00 PM Venue : Max Super Speciality Hospital, Noida HR Department, Upper Basement Jaypee Hospital Road, Goberdhanpur, Sector 128 Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201304 Role & responsibilities : • Plan, organize, supervise, and coordinate all nursing activities within the assigned unit during each shift. • Ensure delivery of safe, evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, and physician orders. • Conduct patient rounds to assess quality of nursing care, patient safety, and clinical outcomes. • Perform comprehensive patient assessment and ensure individualized nursing care plans are developed, implemented, and evaluated. • Monitor patients for early signs of clinical deterioration and ensure timely escalation and intervention. • Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, referrals, procedures, and discharges to ensure continuity of care. • Supervise safe administration of medications, IV fluids, blood and blood products, chemotherapy (where applicable), and other prescribed treatments. • Ensure compliance with medication safety practices, including double-checking of high-alert medications and documentation. • Assist physicians during bedside procedures, emergencies, and critical interventions. • Ensure effective patient and family education regarding disease condition, treatment, discharge planning, rehabilitation, and follow-up care. • Ensure accurate, complete, and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR/HIS). • Conduct effective shift handovers using standardized communication tools (SBAR or approved format). • Allocate nursing staff based on patient acuity, workload, competency, and skill mix. • Prepare and monitor duty rosters, shift assignments, leave planning, and manpower utilization in coordination with the Nurse Supervisor. • Supervise, mentor, coach, and support Senior Staff Nurses, junior nurses, students, and trainees. • Conduct orientation, bedside teaching, competency assessments, return demonstrations, and on-the-job training for nursing staff. • Monitor staff performance and provide regular feedback to promote professional growth. • Ensure compliance with patient identification protocols, informed consent, medication safety, infection prevention, fall prevention, pressure injury prevention, safe patient handling, and restraint policies. • Monitor adherence to hand hygiene, PPE usage, aseptic techniques, isolation precautions, biomedical waste management, and environmental cleaning standards. • Participate in and coordinate Code Blue, Code Red, Code Pink, Code Orange, disaster management, and other emergency response activities. • Ensure readiness and functionality of crash carts, emergency medications, defibrillators, suction apparatus, oxygen supply, infusion pumps, monitors, and other critical equipment. • Monitor inventory of medications, consumables, emergency supplies, linen, and equipment; ensure timely replenishment and report shortages. • Coordinate preventive maintenance and calibration of biomedical equipment with the Biomedical Engineering Department. • Conduct regular nursing audits, documentation audits, medication audits, infection prevention audits, and patient safety audits. • Monitor Nursing Quality Indicators (NQIs), patient satisfaction, and unit performance indicators, and implement corrective actions where required. • Report and investigate medication errors, patient falls, pressure injuries, healthcare-associated infections, near misses, and adverse events as per hospital policy. • Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs). • Ensure compliance with NABH standards, statutory requirements, hospital policies, and nursing protocols. • Coordinate with consultants, resident doctors, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, physiotherapy, dietetics, infection control, quality, biomedical engineering, housekeeping, CSSD, and other support departments. • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, departmental meetings, quality meetings, and hospital committees as assigned. • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and ensure ethical and professional nursing practice. • Prepare and submit daily census reports, staffing reports, incident reports, quality reports, audit findings, inventory reports, and other departmental records. • Promote teamwork, effective communication, employee engagement, and a positive work environment. • Participate in mandatory education programs, continuing nursing education (CNE), competency assessments, and leadership development initiatives. • Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the Nurse Supervisor, Assistant Nursing Superintendent, Deputy Nursing Superintendent, or Nursing Superintendent. Other Educational Function • Participates in clinical teaching both planned and incidental. • Helps in the orientation of new staff. • Participates in staff education program. • Guides student Nurses. Department/ Unit Management • Ensure the unit is operationally ready before the start of each shift. • Verify functionality and availability of all patient care equipment, including monitors, infusion pumps, syringe pumps, suction apparatus, oxygen outlets, defibrillators, glucometers, ventilators (where applicable), and other unit-specific equipment. • Ensure crash carts are fully stocked, sealed, and checked as per hospital policy, with emergency drugs and equipment readily available. • Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of medications, consumables, emergency supplies, linen, PPE, and patient care equipment to prevent stock shortages. • Coordinate with Pharmacy, CSSD, Biomedical Engineering, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Sto
