The role focuses on **real-time monitoring (“eyes on glass”), incident handling, and operational support** across on-prem and cloud infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring system availability, proactively identifying issues, and coordinating with stakeholders and vendors for timely resolution. **🔷 Key Responsibilities** - Perform 24x7 monitoring of infrastructure systems (eyes on glass) and proactively detect anomalies or alerts - Lead incident bridge calls, coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution - Handle incident/service requests via ServiceNow, ensuring SLA adherence - Perform initial troubleshooting (L1 level) for Windows servers and escalate when required - Monitor system health using tools such as AppDynamics (and optionally Splunk) - Ensure timely communication and updates to stakeholders during incidents - Support server availability, performance tracking, and alert management using monitoring tools - Assist in maintaining runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation - Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth service operations **🔷 Required Skills & Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree: B.E. / B.Tech / MCA - 1–3 years of experience in server operations / infrastructure monitoring / IT support - Basic understanding of Windows Server environments - Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools - Exposure to monitoring tools (AppDynamics preferred) - Good understanding of incident management and escalation processes - Strong communication skills and ability to work in a global environment - Ability to respond to alerts and reprioritize tasks dynamically **🔷 Good To Have Skills** - Basic knowledge of Splunk or other log analysis tools - Understanding of VMware / virtualization environments - Exposure to cloud environments - Basic understanding of infrastructure components (servers, storage) **🔷 Behavioral Competencies** - Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset - Ability to work under pressure in high-availability environments - Team collaboration across global stakeholders - Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies **🔷 Work Requirements** - Willingness to work in 24x7 rotational shifts - Ready to work from office (GCC location) - Ability to handle critical incidents and high-priority alerts effectively **🔷 Success Criteria** - Timely incident detection and escalation - Adherence to SLAs and operational KPIs - Effective coordination during outages - Reduction in incident resolution time and improved system uptime Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job **EEO Statement** Integrated into our shared values is NCR Voyix’s commitment to equal employment opportunity.
