API+ Automation (Rest Assured+ Karate // Any Programming Language Job Description QA Engineer (API & Mobile Testing) Role Summary We are looking for a QA Engineer who can work on API testing, mobile app validation, and automation. The role requires good understanding of agile practices and solid knowledge of testing processes. Responsibilities • Test APIs and mobile apps for functionality, performance, and stability. • Create and maintain automation scripts using Rest Assured, Playwright API, or similar tools. • Support mobile automation using Appium or other frameworks (added advantage). • Review requirements and prepare test scenarios, cases, and reports. • Work closely with developers and product teams in an agile environment. • Log defects, track them to closure, and ensure high-quality releases. • Contribute to improving test processes and automation coverage. Required Skills • Strong experience in API testing and automation. • Basic to moderate experience in mobile testing; automation experience is a plus. • Good understanding of agile workflows and testing lifecycle. • Ability to analyse issues, debug failures, and work on root-cause identification. Good to Have • CI/CD exposure (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). • Performance testing knowledge (JMeter, k6) • Awareness of AI in testing
