Assistant/ Deputy Manager (QC)- New Product Assembly Projects

Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Plan and execute daily NPD quality activities to ensure high standards - CMM program preparation for NPD dies and existing dies revision if required - Technical troubleshooting for New Product QA activities & Ensure smooth handover to Series Production - Develop and implement inspection plans and handle FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) activities. - Hands on experience on Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), GD& T knowledge & technical communications with customers. - Have knowledge about Statistical process control, Calibration , Testing NABL labs & Measurement system analysis to manage over daily shop floor inspections - Have system knowledge about AS9100, internal and external audits & NADCAP audits - Prepare and oversee budgets for quality-related activities, manage costs related to rejection /rework reduction through in built process quality & manage new instrument procurement. - After Sales support, warranty claims, repairs and add value to the products **Preferred candidate profile** - The candidate should have products background ( mostly functional products related to IC engines and Turbomachinery ). Understanding the Product development and product life cycle ( including MRO ), Materials, Testing and failures investigations. - Person should be good in reading drgs, understanding stackup and Application integration. - Need to be bold and have strong communication in negotiating with Suppliers, Customer and Internal stakeholders. - Should be ready for frequent travels. - Should have strong and swift decision making capability.
