Job description

**Role & responsibilities** - Estimation analysis/rate analysis tendering for all kind of civil, fabrication, electrical, plumbing, HVACs & its variations. - Comparison of tenders to set up a benchmark rate. - Negotiating & awarding of contracts with the co-ordination of site engineers and respective managers. - Prepare project costing and standardize the project estimation cost. - Rate analysis for material and labor component considering basic and final rates quoted at the time of pre tendering procedure. - To coordinate and finalize agencies for quotations and simultaneously compare the quotations with respect to quality of work and timely completion of projects with best rate. - Interaction with consultants, engineers for inspections, audits, design clarifications, project closeout issues, etc. - Coordinating with contractors, vendors, architects, projects management team, clients and consultants. - Creating database of different agencies according to type of activity/nature of work through database, Internet, advertisement, etc. - Management of project execution procedures, project documentation and project reconciliation. - Handling of all tax related issues, Like VAT and S.T related to contracts. - Ensure that contracts & their conditions are suitable to the project interest. - Ensure the Vendor/Contractor use materials as per the quote. - Liasioning with Govt. Departments such as TNEB/CMWSSB/Fire & rescue service /Chennai Corporation for license renewal and other inspection related works. - To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiatives - To be aware of departments performance and objective. - To carryout data collection/support in data collection. - To adhere to the safety norms of hospital and follow both patient and staff safety rules. - To perform any job / task as and when assigned by the superior **Preferred candidate profile** - Experience in **Estimation, Tendering, Contracts, and Commercial Management**. - Experience in **Healthcare/Hospital Infrastructure, Commercial Buildings, MEP, or Large Construction Projects** is preferred.
