## **Position Details** **Position Title:** AVP – Product (Consumption Loans) **Location:** Delhi, India **Work Mode:** Work from Office (5 Days a Week) **Experience Required:** 8-10 Years **Industry:** Lending / NBFC / Fintech (Indian Regulatory Context) ## **Role Overview** DMI Finance is looking for a highly analytical and execution-focused **AVP** – **Product** to be part of our Consumption Loan (CL) product team. The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end product ownership, including strategy formulation, partner integrations, risk alignment, regulatory compliance, and performance optimization. Deep expertise in Consumer Durable Loans, with strong understanding of end-to-end customer journeys including merchant onboarding, consumption loan product construct, subvention/CIB schemes working, credit underwriting, loan origination, disbursement, EMI servicing, collections, and loan closure processes. Hands-on experience working with ecosystem partners including online merchants, OEMs, retailer networks, payment gateways, lending service providers (LSPs), bureaus, and digital KYC providers, with a clear understanding of point-of-sale consumer durable financing, embedded lending journeys, and regulatory compliance requirements. Strong familiarity with operational, credit, fraud, and portfolio management nuances across the Indian consumer lending ecosystem. ## **Key Responsibilities** - Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for the Consumer Durable Loans portfolio. - Design and optimize customer acquisition journeys across online, offline, and merchant-assisted channels. - Lead integrations and operational alignment with merchant partners, OEMs, online E-commerce platforms, payment gateways, credit bureaus, eKYC providers, Account Aggregators, and lending technology platforms. - Build and manage loan origination, approval, disbursement and EMI servicing flows - Monitor portfolio performance including disbursals, approval rates, conversion rates, delinquency trends, NPAs, collection efficiency, and profitability metrics. - Collaborate closely with Risk, Legal, Compliance, Technology, Operations, Collections, and Business teams to ensure seamless execution and adherence to RBI regulations. - Prepare detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), and oversee UAT and go-live processes. - Continuously identify process improvements to enhance customer experience, reduce turnaround time (TAT), improve merchant satisfaction, and strengthen risk controls. - Drive product innovations such as zero-cost EMI, subvention programs, embedded finance solutions, and pre-approved loan offerings. ## **Required Qualifications & Experience** - MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a reputed institution. - 8-10 years of product management experience in Banking, NBFC, Fintech, or Consumer Finance organizations within the Indian lending ecosystem. - Mandatory hands-on experience in Consumer Durable Loans, Point-of-Sale (POS) Financing, Online checkout financing. - Strong understanding of digital onboarding, bureau integrations, eKYC, underwriting systems, and loan management systems (LMS). - Experience managing merchant financing ecosystems and retail distribution partnerships. - Sound knowledge of RBI regulations applicable to retail lending, digital lending guidelines, and consumer finance products. - Experience working with Account Aggregator framework, alternative data sources, or embedded finance platforms is a plus. - Strong analytical capabilities with a structured and detail-oriented approach. - Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and drive execution in a regulated environment. ## **Core Competencies** - Strategic thinking with strong execution orientation. - High ownership and accountability. - Ability to balance growth objectives with prudent credit risk management. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - Data-driven decision-making and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment.
