Job Requirements About the Role We are seeking an Associate Operations Specialist – Retail Assets Operations (D) to join our Loan Servicing – Retail Asset Operations team. This role is responsible for executing operational processes across various retail asset products within a centralized operations hub. The candidate will ensure accurate and timely transaction processing, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to quality assurance and reconciliation efforts post-loan disbursal. Key Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities • Perform transaction processing across loan servicing functions such as storage management, insurance, payments, repayments, reconciliation, and quality assurance. • Ensure all transactions are processed within the defined Turnaround Time (TAT) with 100% accuracy. • Execute daily processing activities as per system guidelines and process checklists. • Manage a team of 5–6 direct reports, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to service standards. • Coordinate with local branches to resolve discrepancies identified in loan files. • Liaise with internal stakeholders including Product and Policy teams to implement new guidelines and processes related to loan booking. • Publish and share various MIS reports with relevant stakeholders. • Apply basic knowledge of the loan lifecycle to support operational activities. • Utilize MS Excel and MS PowerPoint for reporting and documentation. Secondary Responsibilities • Demonstrate strong influencing skills to engage and build relationships with stakeholders for effective execution. • Maintain a delivery and results-oriented approach, working under pressure while ensuring consistent quality. What We Are Looking For Education • Graduation: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution. Experience • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in loan servicing or retail asset operations. Skills and Attributes • Basic understanding of the loan lifecycle and operational processes. • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. • Strong coordination and communication skills for stakeholder engagement. • Ability to manage small teams and drive performance. • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. • Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Alignment with IDFC First’s ‘Customer First’ culture, ensuring high service standards. • Collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams including Business, Product, Customer Service, Credit, Technology, Analytics, and Risk.
