Job Description Production Associate Department: Production Location: Arjun Baroda / Indore Reports To: Production Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 36 Years Position Overview We are looking for a Production Supervisor / Production Associate to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations and ensure smooth and efficient production. The role will be responsible for achieving production targets, managing shop-floor manpower, maintaining quality and safety standards, monitoring machine performance, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities • Supervise day-to-day production operations and ensure shift-wise production targets are achieved. • Plan and monitor manpower deployment, attendance, and productivity on the shop floor. • Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, work instructions, quality standards, and production processes. • Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Stores, and Planning teams to ensure uninterrupted production. • Monitor machine and equipment performance and promptly report breakdowns and operational issues. • Maintain daily production records, shift reports, MIS, and other production documentation. • Ensure compliance with 5S, safety standards, housekeeping, and workplace discipline. • Train and guide operators on work instructions, safety practices, quality requirements, and process improvements. • Identify and resolve shop-floor issues to minimize production losses and downtime. • Support Kaizen, continuous improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost-reduction initiatives. • Monitor production quality and coordinate with the Quality team for corrective and preventive actions. • Ensure proper shift handover and communicate production-related issues to the concerned teams. Required Qualifications • Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. • 36 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or production operations. • Experience in foam, mattress, furniture, FMCG, or related manufacturing industries will be preferred.
