Automation Test Engineer

Job description

Core Skills: • Strong experience with Selenium or Playwright using Java. • API testing using REST Assured and Postman. • Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber). • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD. • SQL expertise for data validation and backend testing. • Experience in regression suite maintenance and test automation best practices. • Ability to map user stories to test scenarios and test cases. API Testing Skills • REST Assured framework with Java. • API schema validation and authentication testing (OAuth/JWT). • API chaining and data-driven test automation. • Basic understanding of contract testing concepts. Functional & E2E Testing Skills • End-to-end test design and ownership for assigned features. • Regression test suite creation and maintenance. • Cross-browser and cross-platform validation. • User story to test case traceability and coverage. • Should have knowledge of JIRA
