Role Title :AWS Data Engineers Experience Range :3 to 6 years Competency Area :AWS Data & Analytics Role Summary The AWS Data Engineer will build ETL / ELT pipelines, data lake structures and curated datasets to support analytics, reporting, AI and GenAI workloads. Required Primary Skills • AWS Glue • Amazon S3 • Athena • Redshift • SQL • Python / PySpark Secondary Skills • EMR • Lake Formation • Incremental loads • Data validation • Pipeline monitoring Technical Skills • AWS Glue, S3, Athena, Redshift, EMR and Lake Formation basics • SQL, Python, PySpark and data transformation frameworks • ETL / ELT design, incremental loads and orchestration concepts • Pipeline monitoring, error handling and cost optimization Key Responsibilities • Develop ingestion frameworks and ETL / ELT pipelines. • Build data lake and warehouse datasets using AWS services. • Prepare curated data for BI, analytics, AI and GenAI workloads. • Implement data quality checks, monitoring and error handling. • Collaborate with architects, analytics engineers and AI teams. Preferred Certifications • AWS Certified Data Engineer - Associate • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Expected Deliverables • ETL / ELT pipelines • Curated datasets • Pipeline quality reports • Technical documentation Qualification • B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline. • Hands-on delivery experience aligned to the stated experience range and role scope.
