Job description

Roles and Responsibilities • Operate blast furnaces to produce high-quality pig iron. • Monitor and control the process parameters to optimize production efficiency and quality. • Ensure proper functioning of water systems, including cooling towers, condensers, and other related equipment. • Manage fuel consumption patterns to minimize waste and maximize productivity. • Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and implement changes. Desired Candidate Profile • 5-10 years of experience in blast furnace operations or a related field (iron making). • Diploma or degree in Metallurgical Engineering (B.Tech / B.E.). • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, plant operations, production management, shop floor management, and process optimization techniques. • Proficiency in operating heavy machinery such as cranes and excavators; ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
