Role Description The Branch Business Head for Jodhpur is a full-time, on-site role responsible for leading branch operations, business growth, and customer service excellence. This role involves developing and executing branch-level business plans, driving deposits and advances, and ensuring achievement of revenue and profitability targets. The Branch Business Head oversees daily operations, ensures compliance with regulatory and internal policies, manages risk, and maintains high standards of audit readiness. The role includes leading and mentoring the branch team, monitoring sales performance, strengthening customer relationships, and resolving escalated issues promptly and professionally. The Branch Business Head also collaborates with regional and corporate teams to implement strategic initiatives and support community engagement activities aligned with the bank’s values. Qualifications • Strong branch banking expertise, including retail banking operations, business development, and customer relationship management. • Proven experience in sales leadership, target achievement, and driving growth in deposits, advances, and cross-selling of banking products. • Sound knowledge of regulatory guidelines, compliance requirements, risk management, and audit processes in the banking sector. • Demonstrated people management skills, including team leadership, coaching, performance management, and fostering an inclusive work environment. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex customer situations and escalations. • Strong analytical and financial acumen to review branch performance, interpret data, and make informed decisions. • Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business administration, or a related field; a postgraduate degree or professional banking certification is an advantage. • Prior experience as a branch manager or in a similar leadership role within a bank or financial institution, preferably in retail or small finance banking. • Comfort with using banking systems and digital tools for operations, reporting, and customer service. • Commitment to fairness, transparency, and ethical conduct, aligned with the values of Equitas Small Finance Bank.
