About the Role You will lead a team of 3-4 Field Sales Associates across one zone — either Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, or Coimbatore — and own that zone's CBSE school revenue target. You are a player-coach: you will be in the field alongside your team, personally closing large deals, and coaching your FSAs to close the rest. This role requires someone who has managed a field sales team in the school or education sector and understands how school decisions actually get made — the committee cycles, the seasonal windows, the trust-building that precedes any signature. What You Will Do · Own your zone's revenue target: · Manage, coach, and hold accountable a team of FSAs/Area Managers through weekly pipeline reviews and regular field ride-alongs · Personally close deals and support FSAs on high-value school accounts · Review and validate each FSA's territory tier stratification before the season opens · Ensure the team completes all certifications (demo, activity facilitation) by September 21 · Maintain a weekly CRM pipeline review — every school at Stage 3 and above must have a clear next action and owner · Escalate deals, risks, and team issues to the Sales Head proactively — not after they become problems · Build relationships with school management committees and chains in your zone What We Are Looking For · 5–9 years of B2B sales experience with at least 2 years managing a field team · Direct experience selling to CBSE schools — understanding the committee approval process is essential · Has personally closed institutional deals of ₹10L+ in the education or publishing sector · Strong people manager: track record of coaching junior salespeople, not just hitting personal targets · Fluent in regional language: Marathi for MH zones, Tamil for TN zones · Data-driven: comfortable reading a pipeline, spotting gaps, and acting before month-end
