The bank emphasizes financial inclusion, responsible banking practices, and transparent policies, including clearly defined data and privacy standards. **Role Description** This is a full-time, remote role for a Cluster Manager – Vehicle Finance, overseeing the Pondicherry, Cuddalore, and Villupuram locations. The Cluster Manager will lead and manage the vehicle finance portfolio across the cluster, including planning and driving business growth, meeting disbursement and portfolio quality targets, and ensuring adherence to bank policies and regulatory guidelines. The role includes supervising and mentoring branch and field teams, setting performance goals, conducting regular reviews, and building a strong performance and compliance culture. The Cluster Manager will identify and develop new business opportunities, strengthen dealer and partner relationships, and support cross-sell of other bank products where relevant. Day-to-day responsibilities also include monitoring collections and delinquencies, ensuring timely resolution of customer issues, coordinating with credit, operations, and risk teams, and preparing regular reports and analysis for senior management. **Qualifications** - Strong experience in vehicle finance or retail asset finance, with exposure to managing multi-location portfolios and meeting business and collection targets. - Proven skills in team leadership, people development, and performance management, preferably in field sales or branch banking environments. - Sound understanding of credit assessment, risk management, underwriting norms, and collections processes for vehicle loans. - Ability to build and manage relationships with dealers, intermediaries, and local market stakeholders, with strong customer service orientation. - Proficiency in data analysis, portfolio monitoring, and report preparation; comfort with banking systems and standard office productivity tools. - Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and handle remote and field-based teams. - Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, commerce, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) in finance or marketing is an advantage. - Experience in banking, NBFCs, or financial services in semi-urban or rural markets is preferred, along with familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements.
