Collection Officer

Job description

**Portfolio Management** - Manage the assigned collection portfolio across Current, X-Bucket, Bucket 1, Bucket 2, and Bucket 3. - Monitor customer repayment behaviour and ensure timely follow-up. - Maintain portfolio quality by minimizing delinquency and preventing bucket roll-forward. **Collection & Recovery** - Ensure timely collection of EMIs and overdue amounts from assigned customers. - Conduct field visits and negotiate repayment commitments with customers. - Achieve monthly collection and recovery targets as assigned. **Compliance & Documentation** - Adhere to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and collection processes. - Update collection activities, customer commitments, and payment status in the system. **Coordination & Stakeholder Management** - Coordinate with Branch Managers, Sales, Credit, and Operations teams to resolve collection issues. - Escalate high-risk or non-responsive accounts to the reporting manager. - Support team initiatives to improve collection efficiency and portfolio performance.
