Job Summary Consulting Group, CBRE -Industrial Advisory The Industrial AdvisoryGroup of CBRE Consulting (based out of New Delhi, India) is a specializedadvisory practice that undertakes assignments focused towards Industrial &Economic Real Estate advisory across a broad spectrum of emerging market geographiessuch as Indian Subcontinent, South-East Asia, Middle East & Africa, EastEurope, South America, etc. Typical Portfolio Ofservices Includes • BusinessPlan formulations • FinancialViability Analyses, Market Analyses, Entry Strategies, etc. • Economicand Industrial positioning/repositioning • Economicand Industrial development strategies • MarketingStrategies, Investor Search exercises, etc. Essential Duties And Responsibilities • The candidate’s primary role would be to work as a project lead andundertake business development activities for the industrial advisory division. • The profile involves handling multiple projects, managing project teams,giving directions on work to tea, work with the team in formulating effectivestrategies for the clients, review of deliverables, etc. to ensure successfulproject delivery. • Business strategy development, preparation / review of business expansionplans for the industrial advisory division • Review and be involved on preparation of proposals / pitches / additionalbusiness with the client and work towards successful closure of the businessleads. • Generate new business leads from different sources and manage delivery ofservices to the clients. • Act as a single point of contact for client requirements. Understandclient goals and objectives and translate them into service requirement andensure successful client service delivery. • Develop strong relationship with existing and new client organizations byfrequently visiting them personally. • Responsible for sourcing / successfully responding to tenders / bids (fortarget geographies) • Work closely with the Vertical head and department head and keep themaware of all work-related progress and business opportunities. • Working closely with legal, compliance and business team on preparationand finalization of work orders / Agreements / contracts for secured mandates. • Support senior management and participate in periodical business reviews. • The role will involve regular / active traveling across domestic /international geographies to manage projects and undertake business developmentactivities. Requirements Educational Qualification • Universitydegree (MBA, master’s in finance / Economics or equivalent specialization) Experience • 2-4+ yearsof work experience with specialized international consulting firms • Provenrelevant business experience as a Senior professional in Consulting/Advisoryservices in the field of Industrial Real Estate Consulting / StrategicConsulting Other Skills & Abilities • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analyticalskills. • Ability tomonitor and coordinate all types of projects with limited or indirectsupervision. • Ability towrite reports, manuals speeches, and articles using distinctive style. • Shouldhave successfully managed and delivered industrial / economic consultingstudies, covering industrial parks, industrial cities, economic / industrialcorridors, Special Economic Zones / Free Trade Zones, Airport / Port ledindustrial zones, industrial townships, urban development, High-tech industrial/ Innovation & R&D developments, etc. • Deepunderstanding of the industrial and economic sector dynamics across CBRE’s • targetgeographies • Proficiencyin use of various statistical and economic models used for forecasting,analysis, etc • Ability todevelop a network of relevant client across focused geographies, provenrelevant business development experience in terms of managing clientrelationships, generating new business leads, team management, etc. • Exposureto emerging markets, is necessary, and ideally the candidate should have hadbusiness exposure to South & South-East Asia, Africa, and Middle East • Excellentcommunication and analytical skills, ‘report’ writing capabilities, soundknowledge of financial modeling, preparation, and delivery of presentations. • Goodknowledge of MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint. • Should bea team worker, with the ability to handle pressure and perform with all sortsof people both above and below in the hierarchy. Must have strong dataanalysis skills and a clear understanding on real estate market trends andpolicy issues.
