**Deputy Manager IT Procurement (India Hub: Gurgaon / Bangalore)** **Role Overview** The Deputy Manager – IT Procurement will support the Group Procurement function of Aster GCC organisation by managing endtoend sourcing, contracting, and supplier management for IT categories (hardware/software). The role is based in India (Gurgaon or Bangalore) and will operate as an extension of the UAE central procurement team, driving value, compliance, and innovation across IT spend. This position requires minimum 7–9 years of specialised IT procurement experience, strong technical understanding of IT products/services, and a welldeveloped supplier market view across service/goods providers. **Key Responsibilities** - IT Category Strategy — Develop and execute sourcing strategies across hardware, software, cloud, cybersecurity, IT services, AMC, and infrastructure. - EndtoEnd Sourcing — Lead RFPs, RFQs, negotiations, bid evaluations, and contracting aligned with group procurement policies. - Technical Evaluation Support — Collaborate with IT stakeholders to translate technical requirements into procurement specifications. - Supplier Market Intelligence — Maintain deep knowledge of OEMs, distributors, and service providers in India and GCC. - Contract & Commercial Management — Drive cost optimisation, SLA governance, and risk mitigation across IT contracts. - CrossBorder Procurement — Coordinate with central procurement team for approvals, compliance, and project alignment. - Stakeholder Engagement — Partner with IT, Finance, Legal, and Operations to ensure seamless procurement execution. - Data & Reporting — Maintain procurement dashboards, savings trackers, and supplier performance reports. - Compliance & Governance — Ensure adherence to group procurement policies, audit requirements, and ethical sourcing standards. **Required Skills & Experience** - 7–9 years of handson IT procurement experience in large enterprises (healthcare preferred but not mandatory). - Strong understanding of IT hardware, software licensing models, cloud, cybersecurity, and managed services. - Proven negotiation experience with OEMs, global IT vendors, and regional distributors. - Ability to interpret technical specifications and collaborate with IT architects/engineers. - Experience managing multicountry procurement or GCCbased stakeholders is an advantage. - Strong analytical, commercial, and contractdrafting skills. - Proficiency in ERP procurement modules (Oracle Fusion). - Excellent communication and stakeholdermanagement capability. **Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or Business. - PGDPM/MBA will be added advantage. - MCIPS, PMP, ITIL, or cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) are an added advantage. **Work Location** - Gurgaon or Bangalore, or Calicut - Travel overseas/within India may be required for key projects or vendor meetings. **Role Impact** This role strengthens the organisation’s IT procurement backbone, ensuring cost efficiency, technology standardisation, and supplier excellence across the organization.
