Role Title DevOps Architect Experience Range 7 to 18 years Competency Area AWS DevOps & Modern Engineering Role Summary The DevOps Architect will define CI/CD architecture, infrastructure automation standards, release engineering practices, DevSecOps patterns and AWS delivery governance. Required Primary Skills • CI/CD • Terraform / CloudFormation • Docker • ECS / EKS • GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Jenkins Secondary Skills • DevSecOps • CloudWatch / X-Ray • Release governance • Scripting • Incident response Technical Skills • AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins • Terraform, CloudFormation and IaC governance • Docker, ECS, EKS, Kubernetes and container delivery • DevSecOps, secrets management, scanning and policy-as-code concepts Key Responsibilities • Design CI/CD, build, release and deployment architecture. • Define Infrastructure as Code standards and environment strategy. • Guide DevOps engineers on platform and container delivery. • Embed security, quality and observability controls into pipelines. • Establish release governance, rollback and readiness gates. Preferred Certifications • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional Expected Deliverables • DevOps reference architecture • CI/CD and IaC standards • Pipeline design backlog • Release governance documentation Qualification • B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline. • Hands-on delivery experience aligned to the stated experience range and role scope. Good to have • AWS certification or active AWS certification plan. • Experience in reusable assets, accelerators, cloud competency building, customer workshops or proposal support.
