DevOps Engineer

Job description

Key Responsibilities : • Monitor scheduled jobs, batch processing, and workflows across environments • Identify job failures, delays, or anomalies proactively • Restart/relaunch failed jobs based on defined SOPs/runbooks • Monitor application health using dashboards and alerting tools • Respond to alerts and incidents within SLA timelines • Escalate issues to L2/L3 teams with proper diagnostics and context • Analyse logs using tools like Splunk (or similar tools) • Capture relevant error messages • Monitor CI/CD pipelines for failures or delays • Rerun failed deployments/tasks as per runbooks • Act as the first point of contact during night shifts • Maintain shift handover notes for global teams • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, Infra, L2/L3 support) • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks
