We enable ad-led growth by deeply understanding partner objectives and crafting tailored advertising solutions that drive performance. Our team plays a pivotal role in scaling brand success on the platform while directly contributing to Myntra’s bottom-line and profitability. As we expand, unlocking the potential of our **Third-Party (3P) marketplace seller ecosystem** is a core strategic priority. Role Overview We are looking for a dynamic, strategic, and high-ownership leader to drive **Ads Demand** and growth for Myntra Ads. This role operates at the intersection of AdTech, e-commerce, and growth strategy. As the **Director – Demand** , you will not only lead media planning and monetization for our premium brand portfolio but will also **steer the 3P Charter** . You will be responsible for democratizing advertising across our marketplace, scaling self-serve ad adoption among third-party sellers, and building sustainable, high-growth revenue streams. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, data-led environment and is passionate about building businesses from the ground up. Key Responsibilities - Media Planning & Business Growth (1P & Enterprise) - Lead the Ads charter for a comprehensive category portfolio spanning multiple brand need states, varied inventory, and a diverse brand ecosystem. - Create and implement a robust Ads media planning and delivery framework to maximize brand visibility and ROI. - Establish rigorous processes and performance metrics to continuously optimize and scale the business. - 3P Charter & Marketplace Scaling (New) - Own the end-to-end strategy, adoption, and revenue targets for the 3P (Third-Party) seller ads portfolio. - Democratize AdTech adoption by driving the penetration of self-serve ad platforms among long-tail and marketplace sellers. - Partner closely with Product, Tech, and Analytics teams to build, refine, and scale automated marketing tools, bidding features, and self-serve dashboards tailored for 3P sellers. - Design data-driven onboarding, education, and lifecycle management playbooks to maximize 3P seller retention and ad spend efficiency. - Profitability & Thought Leadership - Devise a long-term ads strategy for the Business Unit (BU) in alignment with evolving market trends, tech advancements, and the competitive landscape. - Ensure Contribution Margin (CM) delivery for the ads business in strict alignment with annual financial targets. - Act as an industry thought leader, identifying gaps in the market to position Myntra Ads as the premier retail media platform in India. - Ads Strategy & Execution - Design and implement holistic growth strategies aligned with Myntra's annual business goals. - Identify, experiment with, and scale new ad revenue streams across both managed brands and the marketplace ecosystem. - Stakeholder Management & Collaboration - Communicate strategies, performance metrics, and insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders with clarity and impact. - Work cross-functionally with Category Management, Marketplace Operations, and Revenue teams to align ads strategies with overall marketplace growth. - Leadership & Team Building - Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing team of growth managers and account specialists. - Foster a culture of experimentation, strong data ownership, and continuous learning.
