Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Divisional Manager Tractor Loan Collection based in Guwahati. The role involves overseeing tractor loan collections across the division, setting collection strategies, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines. The Divisional Manager will monitor portfolio performance, track delinquencies, and implement corrective action plans to improve recovery and reduce non-performing assets. Responsibilities include managing and mentoring collection teams, coordinating with branches and regional offices, and resolving high-value or complex customer accounts. The role also requires preparing periodic reports, analyzing collection trends, supporting audit and compliance activities, and collaborating with sales and credit teams to strengthen overall portfolio quality. Qualifications • Strong experience in loan collections, recovery operations, or credit control, preferably in vehicle or tractor finance. • Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate field and branch collection teams in a target-driven environment. • Solid understanding of lending processes, risk management, and regulatory guidelines relevant to non-banking finance companies. • Proficiency in data analysis, portfolio monitoring, and use of MIS/reporting tools to drive decisions. • Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to handle escalated customer cases. • Comfort working in rural and semi-urban markets, with willingness to travel within the division as required. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Management, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage. • Prior experience in a managerial role within financial services or banking will be highly beneficial.
