Engineer - EOL (Vehicle Assembly)

About the Role We are looking for a hands-on and driven Engineer Production with direct experience in truck assembly line and End of Line (EOL) operations at our Oragadam plant. The role is responsible for achieving production targets, vehicle clearance, EOL testing, quality concern resolution, and driving continuous improvement on the shop floor. Mandatory Requirement Candidates MUST have hands-on experience in Truck Assembly and End of Line (EOL) Testing operations. Candidates without truck assembly or EOL experience will NOT be considered. Key Responsibilities Production & EOL Operations • Achieve daily production targets in truck assembly line • Responsible for vehicle clearance and End of Line testing process • Manage Roller Test, Wheel Alignment, and Dynamic Testing processes • Ensure vehicles meet highest standards of process and product quality Quality & Continuous Improvement • Expertise in Quality Concern Resolution Process • Comprehend quality issues and implement effective countermeasures • Upkeep Quality Management Systems — IATF • Implement new techniques and technologies to improve productivity • Drive continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives Manpower & Shop Floor Management • Handle manpower planning and crisis management on shop floor • Train and guide blue collar associates • Optimize utilization of machines and equipment • Maintain production tools and equipment as per schedule • Ensure 5S standards and discipline on shop floor at all times Systems & Reporting • Work with Manufacturing Execution Systems — SAP or MES • Monitor plan vs actual and take corrective actions Knowledge & Skills Required • Hands-on experience in truck assembly, truck repair, and End of Line operations • Knowledge of Roller Test, Wheel Alignment, and Dynamic Testing process • Knowledge of Quality Concern Resolution process • Troubleshooting experience in truck assembly process • Familiarity with IATF and shop floor quality systems • Exposure to SAP or MES systems on shop floor Other Abilities • Good communication and articulation skills • Flexible in approach and open to new ideas • Ability to work under pressure and meet daily targets • Team player with ability to lead blue collar workforce
