**Role & responsibilities** - Respond to customer ESG data requests and compliance questionnaires (e.g., OEM requirements). - Support submissions for: - IMDS / CAMDS - RoHS / REACH compliance - EcoVadis / CDP assessments - Collect, validate, and analyze ESG data (energy, emissions, waste, water). - Support preparation of: - ESG dashboards - Monthly/quarterly internal reports - Customer sustainability reports - Track KPIs such as carbon footprint, energy usage, and waste reduction. - Ensure compliance with: - Environmental regulations (RoHS, REACH, WEEE) - Company environmental management systems (ISO 14001) - Support monitoring of Scope 1, Scope 2 emissions (basic level) and Scope3. - Coordinate with EHS teams for audits and compliance checks. - Assist in executing initiatives such as: - Energy efficiency projects - Waste reduction programs. - Plastic and packaging reduction - Support sustainability integration in manufacturing and product design. - Gather and monitor supplier ESG data. - Follow up with suppliers on compliance declarations. - Assist in supplier sustainability assessments and audits. - Maintain ESG-related procedures, records, and compliance documents. - Support development of policies, SOPs, and work instructions. **Preferred candidate profile** - Bachelors degree in: - Environmental Engineering - Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering - 5 to 8 years of experience in: - ESG / Sustainability / EHS / Compliance roles - Automotive or electronics manufacturing (preferred) - Freshers with relevant internships/projects in sustainability may be considered. - Basic knowledge of: - RoHS, REACH, IMDS - ISO 14001 environmental systems - Understanding of: - Carbon footprint basics (GHG Protocol introductory level) - ESG concepts and reporting frameworks. - Proficiency in: - MS Excel (data handling) - PowerPoint and reporting tools. - Exposure to Power BI (good to have) - Strong attention to detail and data accuracy - Good communication skills (customer interaction support) - Ability to work in cross-functional teams. - Problem-solving mindset
