Designation: Engineer - IT Operations Position description: Join Visteon's IT Operations team as an IT Operations Engineer, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, efficiency, and security of IT infrastructure supporting the automotive industry. This position demands a proactive approach to monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing IT systems to meet the dynamic needs of automotive manufacturing and business operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, manage incidents, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that align with Visteon's commitment to innovation and operational excellence. Primary Responsibilities: • Monitor and analyze the performance of IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and applications to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime. • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex IT incidents and service requests in a timely manner, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors as necessary. • Implement and maintain IT operational procedures and documentation to support consistent and efficient service delivery. • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and develop preventive measures to enhance system reliability. • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce security policies, perform vulnerability assessments, and respond to security incidents. • Support the deployment and integration of new hardware and software solutions in alignment with automotive industry standards and Visteon's technology roadmap. • Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning to accommodate evolving business requirements and technological advancements. • Generate detailed reports on system performance, incident trends, and operational metrics to inform management decisions. • Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure business continuity in critical IT operations. • Engage with manufacturing plant maintenance team to support the OT environment.
