Engineer/Sr Engineer - Freight & Duties In charge

Role & responsibilities • Handle Import & Export operations with endtoend documentation • Manage customs, port & other government procedures • Lead custom clearance & duty management activities • Coordinate with freight forwarders & CHAs; ensure SOP compliance • Negotiate with service providers to optimize cost & service quality • Monitor operating costs, overheads & import-related expenses • Strong coordination with warehousing & procurement planning teams • Generate & circulate daily / weekly / monthly MIS reports Preferred candidate profile • Strong knowledge of customs procedures & documentation • Good negotiation, coordination & communication skills • Cost-focused, detail-oriented & process-driven • Ability to work under pressure Qualification and Eligibility • Experience: 6 - 10 years of experience in freight and duties role • Qualification: B.E / B. Tech / Diploma Electronics / ECE / EEE only
