Role & Responsibilities: Project & Commercial Finance • Cost-to-Complete (CTC) Tracking: Monitor project margins, ensuring accurate financial accounting across Work Breakdown Structures (WBS). • Milestone & Cash Flow Tracking: Certify and track vendor/subcontractor payments against milestone-based disbursements. • Bid & Proposal Pricing: Work with the engineering and bid teams to create accurate project cost estimates, risk margins, and pricing models. • Change Order Analysis: Evaluate the financial impacts of technical variations, scope changes, or project delays. Banking & Treasury Management • Working Capital & Consortia: Manage working capital, bank guarantees, letters of credit (LC), and public/private consortium banking. • Debt Syndication: Negotiate funding lines, manage CMA (Credit Monitoring Analysis) data, and handle credit rating renewals. • Forex Management: Track and hedge foreign exchange exposure related to international procurement and contracts. Taxation, Compliance & Governance • Statutory Compliance: Ensure direct and indirect tax compliance, including GST, TDS, and corporate taxes. • Financial Controls: Establish and enforce Delegation of Authority (DOA) guidelines, SOPs, and internal financial controls. • Audit Facilitation: Coordinate with statutory, internal, and tax auditors for timely closure of audits and regulatory filings. Team Leadership & Reporting • MIS & Dashboards: Design and maintain financial dashboards to provide real-time visibility on costs, cash flow, and Capex. • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing team of commercial project controllers and financial analysts Preferred candidate profile : • Education: Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting. Mandatory professional qualification like Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or CFA. • Experience: Typically 15 to 20 years of progressive experience, with a heavy emphasis on infrastructure, manufacturing, or project-driven EPC environments. • Technical Skills: Deep expertise in revenue recognition, long-term construction contract accounting, and integrated ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, D365). • Core Competencies: Strong contract negotiation abilities, risk assessment capabilities, and stakeholder communication
