Fit Out Project Manager (Civil Interior Renovation & Retrofit)

Job description

**Role & responsibilities:** A Fit-Out Project Manager oversees commercial interior renovation & Retrofit and finishing projects from initiation to completion. They manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure the space is delivered on time, within financial targets, and according to exact design specifications and quality standards. **Key Responsibilities** **Project Execution:** Lead on-site interior Retrofit & Refurbishment fit-out activities, coordinating with architects, consultants,designers, and subcontractors to bring design concepts to life. **Timeline & Budget:** Develop project plans, establish critical milestones, and track costs to ensure delivery on schedule and within budget. **Quality & Compliance:** Conduct regular inspections to guarantee that all Civil & Interior works, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) coordination, comply with regulatory codes and high industry standards. **Stakeholder Management:** Act as the primary point of contact for clients and Business unit team, reporting on project progress, variations, and potential risks. **Procurement & Contracts:** Preparing the BOQ {Bill of Quantities}, SOW {Scope of works} Assist in tendering, evaluating supplier quotations, and overseeing contract negotiations. Requirements & Qualifications **Education:** Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering **Experience:** Typically 5-7 years of experience in fit-out or commercial construction project management. **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Excel,) and the ability to interpret complex technical drawings sharing by consultants. **Soft Skills:** Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation capabilities.
