**A Snapshot of Your Day** As an Instrumentation Engineer for an O&M site, you will lead the Operation and Maintenance team on a 24x7 basis, ensuring 100% availability of machinery without process interruptions. Your day will involve hands-on responsibility for the operation and maintenance of reciprocating compressors, with a strong focus on instrumentation and control systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring safe, smooth, and reliable compressor operations, directly impacting efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. You will work in a collaborative site environment that values technical excellence, strict safety adherence, and a shared commitment to delivering high-quality solutions to clients. **How You’ll Make an Impact** - Conduct routine inspections and maintenance activities on instrumentation and control systems for reciprocating and centrifugal compressors to ensure optimal performance and reliability. - Coordinate with the client at site for Permit to Work (PTW) and other compliances required for day-to-day activities. - Prepare Daily Progress Reports and circulate them within the team, including job-related safety documentation required for site activities. - Identify hazards and risks involved in day-to-day activities and assess appropriate control measures to ensure a safe working environment. - Communicate with clients, contractors, Siemens Energy managers, and workmen regarding all site activities and prepare required documentation. - Conduct toolbox talks, trainings, and awareness sessions related to daily job activities and EHS requirements. - Compile all guidelines and inspection requirements for work performed at site and maintain accurate records. - Ensure the availability of all compressor packages for continuous operation. - Maintain continuous vigilance on compressor operations and take immediate action for predictive and preventive maintenance of equipment. - Perform condition monitoring of equipment and maintain records in line with Siemens Energy guidelines and contractual requirements. - Schedule periodic maintenance activities for field instruments associated with compressor trains and auxiliaries in accordance with OEM guidelines. - Prepare for site audits, including Internal, Client, Technical, EHS, DGMS, OISD, and other applicable audits. - Prepare maintenance schedules and perform hands-on jobs for compressor train maintenance, including scheduled, preventive, predictive, routine, and breakdown maintenance. - Handle precision tools to carry out scheduled calibrations and troubleshooting activities. - Troubleshoot control system and field instrument issues associated with compressor trains and prepare failure analysis reports. - Prepare monthly reports, plan monthly activities, and maintain records related to spare parts, consumables, and waste management. - Perform internal audits of tools, consumables, PPEs, and documentation. - Upload all site-related documentation to Siemens Energy internal servers. - Stay updated on industry best practices, safety standards, and technological advancements in reciprocating and centrifugal compressor instrumentation and control systems, and implement relevant improvements at site. **What You Bring** - 8–10 years of total experience, with Minimum of 3 years of working experience in operation and maintenance of gas plants. - At least 2 years of experience in operation and maintenance of control systems and field instruments related to rotating and reciprocating equipment. - Minimum qualification of B.E., B.Tech, or Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering. - Experience in operation, maintenance, and commissioning of control systems, with familiarity in controls and instrumentation systems used in oil and gas process and compression applications. - Knowledge of handling precision tools, condition monitoring of machinery, master equipment, and field device communicators for analysis and rectification of instrumentation-related issues. - Proficiency in soft skills and tools, including MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint. - Basic knowledge of EHS practices applicable to oil and gas field operations. - Flexibility for relocation and willingness to travel as required. **About the Team** At Value Center ERP, you will be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to driving digital transformation in manufacturing.
