We are offering freedom for personal development and exciting career inthe challenging area of automotive functional safety, a key feature of Visteonproducts (Instrument Clusters, Central Displays, Cockpit Domain Controllers,Battery Management System). **Your responsibilities:** - Define and maintain the ISO 26262 safety process, reliability process, and supporting processes; - Conduct Functional Safety audits and assessments for engineering and manufacturing disciplines; - Perform independent confirmation reviews on safety-related work products; - Monitor correct implementation of safety measures in products; - Report functional safety development status of products; - Ensure the Functional Safety compliance of products; - Lead process and technical trainings; - Research, analyze and share information to Product Development organization about functional safety trends, and architecture solutions for products and elements. **Your qualifications:** - Bachelors / Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Automation Engineering, or related; - Experience in specifying, developing or testing electronic products; - System design experience; - Experience in software design and hardware understanding; - Experience in Functional Safety is considered as a plus; - Good negotiation and persuasive skills; - Open for working in a multicultural team; - Fluent in verbal and written English. **More Good Reasons to Work for Visteon** Our company strategy focuses on leading the evolution of automotive digitalcockpits and safety solutions.
