Our team members are based primarily in India, the U.S., and Europe, with headquarters in North Bethesda, Maryland. If you're looking for a role where the brief is handed to you fully formed, just write the ad, just build the page, just launch the campaign, this probably isn't it. We want someone who's curious enough to ask *why* a campaign underperformed before rewriting the copy, and experimental enough to test their own hypothesis about the answer. If you like owning a problem end-to-end from the insight, to the copy, to the campaign, to reading the result , we'd love to talk. **About the role** Chargebee is looking for a Growth Marketing Specialist to join our Growth Marketing team and work across the full traffic-to-MQL funnel. This is a generalist growth role at heart, built around one non-negotiable: strong copywriting instincts. You'll write and test ad copy, landing page copy, and campaign narratives; and you'll also run the campaign ops behind them, from paid social setup to conversion rate optimization. You won't be boxed into a single channel or a single skill. One week you might be rewriting a LinkedIn ad sequence to fix a message-match problem; the next, briefing a landing page test or digging into why a segment's Quality Score is lagging. The through-line is a curious, experimental mindset: someone who treats every campaign as a hypothesis to test rather than a task to execute, and who can back that curiosity with copy that's sharp, specific, and built to convert. **What you'll do (role and responsibilities)** **Copywriting & Creative** - Write and iterate on ad copy across paid social (LinkedIn, Meta) and paid search, tuned to funnel stage, audience segment, and competitive context - Write and test landing page copy, working closely with design to ship pages that convert - Develop and refine narrative sequencing for multi-touch ad campaigns — the "story" a prospect sees across a cadence, not just isolated ads - Keep copy concise, specific, and free of generic AI-sounding language **Campaign Operations (Paid Social)** - Set up and manage paid social campaigns end-to-end — audience targeting, creative testing, budget pacing, and reporting - Support ABM campaign execution (6sense, Influ2) including audience builds and personalized creative coordination - Monitor and troubleshoot campaign health — Quality Score, message match, delivery issues — and fix what's broken **CRO & Experimentation** - Design, build, and analyze CRO experiments (VWO or equivalent) across landing pages and on-site experiences - Bring an experimental mindset to every workstream: form a hypothesis, test it, read the result, and feed the learning back into the next campaign - Maintain experiment logs and communicate results clearly to the team **Cross-Functional Collaboration** - Partner with MOps, PMM, and design to get campaigns from brief to launch - Work with the growth marketing manager to prioritize test ideas and translate performance data into next steps - Bring independent point of view to briefs — this team values people who think for themselves, not just execute instructions **What you'll bring (required skills and experience)** **Experience and background** - 1–3 years in growth marketing, performance marketing, or a copy-heavy marketing role, ideally in B2B SaaS - Strong portfolio or work samples showing ad copy, landing page copy, or campaign narrative writing - Hands-on experience running paid social campaigns (LinkedIn Ads required; Meta a plus) - Working knowledge of CRO tools and practices (VWO or equivalent) **Copywriting (must-have)** - Sharp, concise copywriting instincts: able to write for different funnel stages and segments without sounding generic or AI-flattened - Comfortable taking feedback on copy and iterating quickly - Spotting good copy vs bad copy - we’ll be using AI to do the drafts, we need someone who can take it and finesse it for different audiences **Mindset and ways of working** - Curious and experimental by default: treats underperformance as a question to investigate, not a dead end - Comfortable holding both the creative and the operational sides of a campaign - Independent thinker who pushes back constructively rather than defaulting to agreement - Detail-oriented enough to catch campaign setup errors before they become performance problems **Nice to have (preferred)** - A design thinking mindset: comfortable working closely with design on layout, visual hierarchy, and user flow, not just handing off copy in a doc - Familiarity with LinkedIn campaign manager, 6sense, Influ2, or other ABM platforms - Exposure to Google Ads (RSA writing, Quality Score optimization) - Experience with AI-assisted copywriting tools, used as a starting point rather than a finished product
