Head - Sourcing & India Supply Base, Exports F&L Location: Mumbai, India About the Role Reliance Retail's Fashion & Lifestyle Exports organisation is built on a strong, reliable India manufacturing base. As Head - Sourcing & India Supply Base, you will own the creation and management of this vendor ecosystem, reporting to the Head - Fashion & Lifestyle Exports. You will be responsible for vendor qualification, capacity allocation and compliance onboarding across garment, textile and allied manufacturers (footwear, beauty, home décor), and for structuring JV and co-manufacturing partnerships wherever dedicated export capacity is required. You will align the vendor capacity pipeline with buyer order book commitments coming from Sales & Key Accounts and Category Management, and drive productivity, technology adoption and quality upgradation across the supply base. As the F&L business grows through acquisitions, you will also manage supply-side readiness for integrating acquired exporters, including vendor base alignment and capacity rationalisation. You will maintain vendor scorecards and capacity dashboards, and partner closely with Quality, Regulatory & Compliance on factory qualification and quality systems. This is a builder's role at the heart of India's export manufacturing capability. Key Responsibilities • Build and manage the vendor ecosystem as a structured export supply base across garment, textile and allied manufacturers • Own vendor qualification, capacity allocation and compliance onboarding • Structure and negotiate JV and co-manufacturing partnerships for categories requiring dedicated export capacity • Align the vendor capacity pipeline with buyer order book commitments from Sales & Key Accounts and Category Management • Drive productivity, technology adoption and quality upgradation across the vendor base • Own factory qualification and quality systems in partnership with Quality, Regulatory & Compliance • Manage supply-side readiness for acquired exporter integration, including vendor alignment and capacity rationalisation • Monitor vendor delivery, quality and compliance performance; manage supplier corrective actions • Maintain vendor scorecards and capacity utilisation dashboards Job Specification / Candidate Requirements • 12-18 years of experience in sourcing, vendor development, manufacturing or supply chain within the textiles, apparel or export industry • Postgraduate/MBA or degree in textile technology, engineering or supply chain management • Strong experience in vendor qualification, factory compliance and JV / co-manufacturing structuring • Experience managing large, multi-category supplier networks in a fast-scaling or acquisition-led environment is preferred Required Skills • Vendor Development & Sourcing • Supply Base Management • JV / Co-Manufacturing Structuring • Factory Compliance & Quality Systems • Capacity Planning
