Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Health Insurance Agent role based in Patna. The Health Insurance Agent will identify prospective customers, explain Niva Bupa’s health insurance products, and recommend suitable plans based on individual and family needs. Daily activities include meeting clients in person, conducting needs assessments, preparing and presenting quotations, and assisting customers with policy enrollment and documentation. The role involves maintaining regular follow-ups, supporting customers with queries about coverage, premiums, and claims, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely service. The Health Insurance Agent will also be responsible for achieving sales targets, adhering to compliance and regulatory guidelines, and representing Niva Bupa’s values and brand in the local market. Qualifications • Strong knowledge of Health Insurance and general Insurance concepts, with the ability to clearly explain policy features and benefits. • Experience or familiarity with Insurance Brokerage and Medicare-related offerings, including working with partners or intermediaries. • Excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear explanations, and professional client interaction in person and over phone or digital channels. • Proven sales or customer-facing experience in insurance, financial services, or related sectors is preferred. • Ability to work on-site in Patna, manage a local territory, and build long-term customer relationships. • Basic proficiency with computers and digital tools for policy processing, reporting, and customer tracking. • Minimum educational qualification: graduate degree in any discipline; relevant certifications in insurance or financial services are an advantage. • Demonstrated integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to regulatory compliance and ethical sales practices.
