Well look to you for: • Providing technical support and fault-finding expertise to maintenance and warranty teams • Analyzing system event data to identify failure modes and compiling test/rectification reports • Supporting infrastructure maintenance and intervention at other sites when required • Collaborating with Fleet Control, Engineering, and Reliability Teams to identify and resolve technical issues • Assisting in pre-work planning for shifts and contributing to the development of accurate planning boards • Supporting knowledge transfer and training within autonomous teams • Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety and compliance All about you We value passion and attitude over experience. Instead, weve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: • An Engineering qualification such as a Higher National Certificate (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering • Practical experience and sound knowledge of rolling stock and infrastructure equipment • Technical expertise in fault finding and implementing repairs • Competence in the use of diagnostic tools and software • Proficiency in the local language • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency with IT tools, including office packages, email, and intranet • A logical, organized approach to problem-solving and a willingness to share suggestions for improvement • A demonstrated team player with a collaborative mindset
