Key Responsibilities • Manage employment-based and non-employment-based work authorization processes for the U.S. and Canada, ensuring compliance with applicable immigration laws and regulations. • Partner with immigration counsel, Legal, HR, managers, and employees to support visa, work permit, and other immigration-related matters. • Monitor government and regulatory updates, assess operational impacts, and collaborate with Legal and U.S./Canada HR teams to implement necessary changes. • Coordinate preliminary immigration case reviews with external counsel before offers, transfers, promotions, relocations, or job changes are finalized. • Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate immigration records and documentation. • Manage government notices, Requests for Evidence (RFEs), compliance inquiries, and other time-sensitive correspondence under attorney guidance. • Coordinate immigration case closures, sponsorship withdrawals, and employee account deactivations when employment or sponsorship circumstances change. • Prepare employment verification letters, travel support letters, immigration support documentation, and other related correspondence. • Ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and maintenance of immigration case data and employee records. • Provide guidance and support to employees and stakeholders on immigration processes, requirements, and timelines. Qualifications & Skills • Experience managing U.S. immigration programs, with knowledge of Canadian immigration processes preferred. • Understanding of employment-based and non-employment-based work authorization processes. • Strong knowledge of immigration compliance requirements and documentation management. • Ability to work effectively with external legal counsel and cross-functional stakeholders. • Experience supporting internal audits and compliance reviews. • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. • Strong verbal and written English communication skills. • Ability to work across U.S. time zones and support a global workforce. • Proficiency with immigration case management systems and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
