The Insurance Advisor will engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their protection needs and recommend appropriate general insurance products across motor, health, personal accident, and other lines. Responsibilities include explaining policy features, benefits, and exclusions clearly, assisting with proposal forms and documentation, and guiding customers throughout the policy issuance and renewal process. The Insurance Advisor will handle customer queries via phone, email, or digital platforms, provide timely follow-ups, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and support claim-related guidance. The role also involves meeting defined sales and service targets while maintaining high standards of compliance and customer satisfaction. **Qualifications** - Candidates should possess strong knowledge and interest in **Insurance** and **Finance** , including basic understanding of general insurance products and financial concepts. - Candidates should possess experience or aptitude in **Consulting** , with the ability to assess customer needs and offer suitable insurance solutions. - Candidates should possess excellent **Customer Service** skills, focusing on responsiveness, empathy, and problem-solving. - Candidates should possess clear and professional **Communication** skills, both verbal and written, to explain complex information in a simple manner. - Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field are beneficial; IRDAI insurance advisor certification or willingness to obtain it is preferred. - Proven ability to meet sales or service targets, strong ethical standards, and adherence to regulatory and company guidelines are desirable.
