ICICI Lombard has received numerous industry awards for excellence, innovation, and social responsibility. **Role Description** This full-time, on-site Insurance Agent role is based in Chennai. The Insurance Agent will engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their coverage needs, explain ICICI Lombard’s insurance products, and recommend suitable solutions across motor, health, and other general insurance lines. Responsibilities include generating leads, managing a sales pipeline, preparing and presenting quotes, assisting with policy issuance, renewals, and endorsements, and supporting customers throughout the claim process. The role involves maintaining accurate records in company systems, adhering to regulatory and compliance guidelines, and meeting individual and team sales targets. The Insurance Agent will collaborate with branch colleagues and management to support campaigns, drive customer satisfaction, and contribute to overall business growth. **Qualifications** - Strong Insurance Sales skills, with a proven ability to prospect, convert leads, and achieve sales targets. - Solid understanding of Insurance products and Insurance Brokerage practices, including general insurance concepts and policy structures. - Basic to intermediate knowledge of Finance principles relevant to premiums, claims, and coverage evaluation. - Excellent Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust, handle queries, and resolve issues effectively. - Good communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and local languages preferred. - Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage time effectively, and handle multiple customer interactions daily. - Comfort with digital tools, CRM systems, and mobile apps; prior experience in tech-enabled or cloud-based environments is an advantage. - Graduate degree in any discipline; a background in business, finance, or insurance and relevant certifications (e.g., IRDAI license) are beneficial. - Ethical conduct, attention to detail, and adherence to regulatory and company compliance standards.
