ICICI Lombard has received numerous industry awards for excellence, innovation, and social responsibility. **Role Description** This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Sales Agent role based in Chennai. The Insurance Sales Agent will identify prospective customers, explain ICICI Lombard’s general insurance products, and recommend suitable coverage options based on customer needs. Responsibilities include generating leads, conducting sales meetings, preparing and presenting insurance proposals, and supporting customers through policy issuance and renewal. The role involves providing responsive customer service, assisting with claim-related queries, and maintaining accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions. The Insurance Sales Agent will work closely with branch teams to achieve sales targets, follow compliance guidelines, and contribute to a positive customer experience. **Qualifications** - Candidates should possess strong Insurance Sales and general Sales skills to generate leads, convert prospects, and meet or exceed targets. - Candidates should possess Insurance and Insurance Brokerage knowledge to explain products clearly and recommend appropriate coverage options. - Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to build long-term relationships, handle queries, and support customers throughout the policy lifecycle. - Candidates should possess effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse customers and stakeholders. - Relevant experience in insurance or financial services sales is highly beneficial; familiarity with digital tools and mobile apps for sales and servicing is an advantage. - A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred, along with the ability to work on-site in Chennai and adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
