Hi All, Greetings from Datamatics. I have an opportunity for Bangalore & Mumbai location for Java Solution Architect role . Senior Solution Architect (Java) Experience: 15+ Years (Architecture & Design-heavy roles) Job Summary Key Responsibilities Architecture & Design • Define end-to-end architecture for large-scale Java-based enterprise and digital banking applications • Design microservices-based architectures, event-driven systems, and RESTful APIs • Ensure scalability, performance, security, resiliency, and maintainability of solutions • Create architecture artifacts: HLD, LLD, sequence diagrams, deployment diagrams Technical Leadership • Act as technical authority and mentor senior and junior developers • Review code, design, and architecture for best practices and compliance • Drive technology roadmap, framework selection, and modernization initiatives • Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams Banking & Compliance • Design solutions aligned with banking regulations, security standards, and compliance (PCI-DSS, ISO, SOC2, etc.) • Understand core banking concepts: payments, lending, cards, AML, KYC • Ensure data privacy, encryption, and auditability Development & Delivery • Guide teams in Agile / SAFe environments • Support CI/CD, cloud-native development, and DevSecOps practices • Troubleshoot complex production issues and performance bottlenecks Required Technical Skills Core Java & Frameworks • Java (Java 8+ / 11 / 17) • Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Micronaut • Hibernate / JPA Architecture & Design • Microservices architecture • Domain-Driven Design (DDD) • Event-driven architecture (Kafka / RabbitMQ), Service-Oriented Architecture. • Design patterns (like Circuit Breaker Pattern, other) & SOLID principles Cloud & DevOps • AWS / Azure (preferred) / GCP • Docker, Kubernetes • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) Databases & Messaging • RDBMS: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL • NoSQL: MongoDB, Cassandra (good to have) • Messaging: Kafka, MQ, ActiveMQ Security • OAuth2, JWT, SSO • API security, encryption, key management • Banking-grade security best practices Banking Domain Experience (Preferred) • 5+ years in Banking / Financial Services • Experience with core banking systems, payment gateways, or digital banking platforms • Knowledge of transaction processing, reconciliation, settlements, and regulatory requirements Soft Skills • Strong stakeholder communication and presentation skills • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions • Leadership and mentoring mindset • Problem-solving and decision-making skills Nice to Have • TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification • Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure)
