About Position: We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Architect Java (with AI / GenAI) with 12-15 years of experience in designing and leading enterprise-scale application architectures. This is a hands-on architecture leadership role focused on building scalable, cloud-native, distributed systems using Java, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and modern cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in enterprise architecture, application modernization, engineering governance, and Generative AI adoption, while providing strategic technical leadership across complex transformation initiatives. • Role: Senior Architect Java (with AI / GenAI) • Location: Pune • Experience: Between 12 to 15 Years • Job Type: Full Time Employment What You'll Do: • Own end-to-end solution and application architecture for large-scale enterprise platforms. • Translate business requirements into scalable, resilient, secure, and maintainable technology solutions. • Define architectural vision, technology roadmaps, and modernization strategies. • Design and implement distributed, microservices-based, and event-driven architectures. • Establish architecture governance, coding standards, design principles, and engineering best practices. • Lead architecture reviews, solution design workshops, and technical decision-making activities. • Design and architect enterprise applications using Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Integration, and Spring Batch. • Develop scalable APIs using REST, gRPC, GraphQL, and OpenAPI-driven standards. • Architect messaging and event-streaming solutions leveraging Kafka, IBM MQ, ActiveMQ, JMS, and related technologies. • Lead application re-platforming and modernization from legacy monolithic systems to cloud-native architectures. • Ensure adoption of clean architecture principles, domain-driven design, and reusable design patterns. • Drive adoption of Generative AI technologies across the software engineering lifecycle. • Utilize tools such as GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, and enterprise AI accelerators to improve delivery efficiency. • Architect and integrate AI/LLM-powered capabilities into enterprise applications. • Design Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and AI-enabled knowledge retrieval systems. • Define AI adoption strategies for code generation, test automation, documentation, and application modernization. • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and establish best practices for enterprise use. • Design cloud-native architectures on AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms. • Lead containerization and orchestration strategies using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm. • Develop highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable cloud solutions. • Collaborate with DevOps and Platform Engineering teams to establish CI/CD and Infrastructure Automation practices. • Drive observability, monitoring, security, and operational excellence initiatives. • Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, delivery teams, QA, and DevOps organizations. • Drive architecture alignment across multiple programs and business units. • Mentor architects, technical leads, and engineering teams. • Support solutioning activities, technical proposals, and strategic technology initiatives. • Ensure successful delivery of high-quality enterprise solutions. Expertise You'll Bring: • 12-15 years of software engineering experience with at least 4+ years in Architecture or Technical Leadership roles. • Deep expertise in Java 11/17+, multithreading, concurrency, collections, and functional programming. • Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Integration, and Spring Batch. • Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Clean Architecture. • Proven experience designing distributed, high-performance, and highly scalable enterprise systems. • Expertise in Apache Kafka, IBM MQ, ActiveMQ, JMS, Event Hubs, and event-driven architectural patterns. • Strong experience with API design and management using REST, gRPC, GraphQL, and OpenAPI/Swagger. • Knowledge of asynchronous communication patterns and enterprise integration frameworks. • Experience implementing secure, scalable API ecosystems. • Strong expertise in relational databases including PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL. • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, DynamoDB, and Cosmos DB. • Strong understanding of data architecture, performance optimization, and scalability patterns. • Experience designing large-scale data processing and transactional systems. • Strong cloud architecture experience on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. • Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Maven, and related tools. • Hands-on experience with SonarQube, Snyk, security scanning, and quality governance. • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and cloud-native engineering practices. • Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, SASVA, and AI-assisted development tools. • Experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures. • Knowledge of prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, embeddings, and vector search technologies. • Understanding of AI/ML fundamentals and AI-driven application development. • Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise-grade Java applications. • Familiarity with vector databases and semantic search solutions. • Expertise in Spring Security, OAuth2, JWT, TLS/SSL, and Mutual TLS. • Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture and secure coding practices. • Proven experience designing systems for High Availability, Scalability,Resiliency. • Disaster Recovery • Performance Optimization • Observability & Monitoring • Experience implementing security, compliance, and governance requirements across
