HCLSoftware Digital Solutions team is looking for an experienced Software Developer who will help us design and implement our Sametime products, to provide highly scalable real-time unified communications and collaboration for enterprises. Primary Responsibilities: • Work with technical and business teams to understand customers' needs, then architect and implement innovative collaboration software solutions • Utilize modern AI-assisted development tools and software development best practices to plan, develop, test and maintain code • Maintain communication and flexibility throughout the software development lifecycle • Continuously improve skills and expertise in appropriate software/programming languages and development tools • Assist Support staff to resolve escalated customer issues Qualification Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field • Minimum 5 years’ experience with full lifecycle project development for JavaScript Applications • Demonstrated expertise with JavaScript or TypeScript • Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, latest EMCAScript features • Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and workflows • Strong understanding of React.js or React Native and Redux • Strong Object-Oriented Development Skills • Experience with web application testing and debugging tools • Familiarity with JavaScript bundling technologies such as Webpack • Experience in a formalized Software Development process, preferably Agile methodology. • Preferred: • Experience with Material-UI React component library • Familiarity with Progressive Web Apps (PWA) and Service workers • Experience developing Node.js applications • Experience in REST based web service development, XML, JSON data • Experience developing high concurrency, high performance applications • Familiarity with developing Accessible user interfaces • Experience writing applications to accommodate all major browsers • Familiarity with Java programming also nice to have Required Skills: • JavaScript application design and development • Critical thinking and creative problem-solving • Highly proficient in spoken and written English • Ability to develop productive and positive stakeholder and customer relationships • Ability to work independently on projects and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Technologies: • Selenium, WebDriverIO, Jasmine, Jest, Mocha testing tools • Web and application servers (Tomcat, Nginx, Node) • Linux OS, Windows server and client OS, Mac OS • Networking, Telecommunications technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SIP, VoIP, WebRTC) • AWS, Docker, Jenkins, VMWare • Git, Jira
