**Urgent Opportunity for the role of Lead EHS Assam site** **Job Description Summary** - The EHS Leader is responsible for assisting in efforts to maintain compliance, reduce risk and deliver EHS excellence through designing and implementation of a robust and consistent governance and audit Framework in Construction / Project Management Environment - The role reports to the Project Director and functionally to the Business / Corp Head- EHS. This role will be responsible for setting the expectations for governance, audit, risk analysis and compliance, engaging with customers, driving Business AOP goals across Project, partnering cross functions to drive sustainable improvement in EHS. - Role is based out of long Project. Leading team size of 150+ EHS teams. **Job Description** Essential Responsibilities / Critical outcomes this role will drive 1. He ensured compliance with Local regulations (Especially Gujrat EHS Related rules) Well aware of US Construction Practices / OSHA Regulations He has to be Expert in HSE Management system as per ISO 14001 & 45001 HSE Requirement for Construction and Project Management National and International HSE Tools and Techniques. Mainly US based like OSHA etc. Construction Safety Audit and Inspection Incident investigation and reporting (expert in Investigation method) Training and Awareness 3. Develops Construction HSES plan in line with TPL HSE requirements and ISO standards. Also, responsible to set up and maintain. HSE Management System in Yard, Onsite and Offsite Emergency plan, Safety programme (instructions, training, meetings, inspections, incentive) Health, Medical and Environmental programs. 4. Monitors that all factors likely to improve health and safety are taken into consideration, particularly those which lead to: Promoting personnel protection as an absolute requisite, Investigating, finding, and neutralizing potential hazards, Close coordination with all parties involved in construction to avoid overcrowded areas and dangerous operations, Thorough preparation of work critical phases, Close contacts to local HSE authorities, Immediate action on any unsafe acts and situations. 5. Promotes a Waste Management Plan including Construction Wastes and Packing Wastes. 6. Coordinates the off-the-job site HSE matters with the Administration Manager. 7. Lead efforts to make regulatory determinations for emergent issues and remain current and/or develop necessary understanding of EHS regulations. 8. Develop and drive Audit framework & Support strategy to proactively maintain Tata Project regulatory compliance and/or industry standard across. 9. Should be able to develop counter measures where deviation is identified. 10. Conduct Analysis of findings, trends, and metrics for statistical trends, and assist in development of action plans to drive program improvements. Serve as a coach and mentor to Site EHS teams to build and implement robust compliance / governance processes, audit skills and hazard recognition. Success Criteria • Diploma/ BE / B-Tech / M-Tech in Engineering + Full-time Post Diploma Industrial Safety/M-Tech Industrial Safety - • 15- 20 years of experience in EHS on Project Management. Familiar with Construction Safety Framework • Have domain expertise in one or more of the following: Electrical Safety and LOTO requirements, crane safety, construction safety, fall prevention, confined space. • Experience and demonstrated achievements with EHS Framework, Governance safety programs, digitized systems, industry standards, and regulatory requirements • Medical fitness and ability to work at height with harness etc. • Fluent English & local with strong communication skills (verbal and written). Desired Characteristics • Relevant EHS experience in compliance assurance and/or digitized tool management • Ability to work in a Factory environment, influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal • Able to coach and support key influencers to drive EHS compliance and the reduction of risk through team engagement and help develop an organizational culture that prioritizes EHS. • Knowledge of EHS management systems, demonstrated ability to manage multiple issues with competing priorities • Confidently able to facilitate and deliver training and or presentations to a diverse audience • High energy, self-starter and demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders.
