Role & responsibilities • Plan, manage and oversee all security operations across mine sites and associated locations. • Develop and implement security policies, SOPs, and risk management plans. • Ensure safety of personnel, assets, equipment and infrastructure. • Conduct risk assessments and ensure effective mitigation of security threats. • Liaise with local authorities, police, and other government agencies. • Lead and motivate security teams; ensure training, discipline and accountability. • Monitor access control, surveillance systems, and incident reporting. • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. • Manage security budgets and ensure cost-effective deployment of resources. • Handle emergency situations and ensure business continuity. • Security Operation (Access Control, Theft, Pilferage, Apprehension, recovery, surprise checks, mock drills. • Stake Holder Management. • OSSP (Outsourced Security Personnel) Management. • Capacity Building. • Security Procedure & Process. • Fire Management. Preferred candidate profile Post Graduate degree in any discipline. Preference for candidates with qualifications in Security Management, Industrial Safety, Risk Management, or Defence Services. • 10-15 years of experience in industrial, mining, steel, ports, or large infrastructure security operations. • Ex-servicemen from Army, Navy, Air Force, Paramilitary Forces, or Police Department will be preferred. • Strong knowledge of mining security challenges, including prevention of theft, pilferage, illegal mining, trespassing, and protection of mineral assets. • Experience in managing security teams deployed across multiple mine locations and remote operational areas. • Sound knowledge of statutory compliance, Mines Act provisions, labour laws, local administration requirements, and liaison with government authorities. • Experience in operating and managing CCTV surveillance systems, access control systems, GPS vehicle tracking, and integrated security monitoring systems. • Proven ability to conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability studies, and incident investigations. • Experience in crisis management, emergency response planning, and business continuity planning. • Strong leadership, team-building, and manpower management skills with the ability to drive disciplinary standards. • Experience in vendor security management and contract security workforce administration. • Proficiency in preparing security reports, investigations, MIS dashboards, and management presentations. • Familiarity with Goa's regulatory environment and local administration & sound in Konkani Language will be an added advantage. • High standards of integrity, ethical conduct, and confidentiality.
