India Legal Group Functions Job Reference # 343198BR City Pune Job Type Full Time Key responsibilities Are you a qualified lawyer with an interest in cross-border financial services? Join our APAC Global Wealth Management (GWM) Legal team and support a broad range of legal advisory, litigation support, and cross-divisional work across Hong Kong and Singapore. In this role, you will work closely with Legal colleagues and business stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions, supporting the GWM business as well as other business initiatives in APAC. You will be part of a dynamic team delivering commercially pragmatic and risk-based legal support. The key responsibilities of the role are as follows: • Provide general legal support to the Hong Kong and Singapore GWM businesses on a broad range of legal matters • Review and advise on client-facing documentation, and support GWM business stakeholders on client lifecycle matters (including onboarding and trust-related queries) • Support the handling of regulatory production orders, regulatory requests and contentious matters in Hong Kong and Singapore and ensuring that the Bank’s responses are accurate, timely and compliant • Provide support on selected Investment Banking (IB) legal matters, including documentation and transaction-related work • Assist with AI-enabled legal drafting initiatives and workflows • Support the development and refinement of templates, playbooks and legal automation tools • Contribute to knowledge management, FAQs and internal legal resources The team You will be part of the APAC Group Legal team supporting the Hong Kong and Singapore GWM business at UBS. The team provides legal advisory across a wide range of wealth management business activities, working closely with Business stakeholders. This role will also support broader Legal Execution Service initiatives in Hong Kong and Singapore, contributing to the delivery of efficient and scalable legal support across APAC. Your skills and experience • Qualified lawyer (mandatory) • 4–7 years of post-qualification experience (preferred) • Experience in banking and financial services (preferred) • Strong analytical, drafting and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple workstreams across different jurisdictions • Detail-oriented with strong execution and organizational skills • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders across functions and geographies About us UBS is a leading and truly global wealth manager and the leading universal bank in Switzerland.
