Job description

Role & responsibilities 1. Facility & Infrastructure Maintenance • Ensure smooth operation of hospital buildings and infrastructure. • Monitor and maintain: • Electrical systems • DG sets • HVAC/AHU systems • Chillers • UPS systems • Water supply systems • Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) • Medical Gas Pipeline System (MGPS) • Fire & Safety systems • Plumbing and drainage systems • Conduct regular inspections and initiate corrective actions. 2. Preventive Maintenance • Develop and implement Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules. • Maintain records of equipment maintenance and breakdown history. • Ensure minimal downtime of critical hospital equipment and utilities. 3. Team Management • Supervise technicians, electricians, plumbers, HVAC operators, and support staff. • Allocate daily work assignments. • Monitor attendance, leave, discipline, and productivity. • Conduct staff training on safety and maintenance procedures. Preferred candidate profile • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering. • Additional certification in HVAC, Safety, or Facility Management preferred.
