**Role & responsibilities** **Production Planning & Scheduling** **Inventory & Material Management** **Production Control & Process Optimization** **Coordination & Communication** - Develop and implement **monthly, weekly, and daily production plans** based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and resource availability. - Coordinate with the **sales and marketing** team to align production schedules with demand. - Monitor plant **capacity utilization** and propose adjustments to optimize efficiency. - Ensure raw materials and consumables are available as per production requirements. - Maintain optimal stock levels of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods. - Work closely with the **procurement and warehouse** teams to prevent shortages or excess inventory. - Implement **inventory control measures** (e.g., safety stock, reorder levels) to minimize wastage and holding costs. - Monitor **real-time production performance** and take corrective actions to avoid deviations from the plan. - Analyze bottlenecks and downtime causes, implementing solutions for process improvement. - Work with the **Quality Assurance** team to ensure adherence to quality standards. - Act as the key liaison between **production, sales execution, procurement, logistics, and marketing** teams. - Ensure **on-time dispatch of finished goods** by coordinating with warehouseand logistics teams. - Prepare and present **production reports, KPI dashboards, and progress updates** to management **Preferred candidate profile** - B.E. / B. Tech in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. An MBA in Operations / Supply Chain is a plus. - **Strong knowledge of production planning & scheduling** in the chemical industry. - **Proficiency in SAP HANA** for production control and inventory management. - **Analytical & problem-solving skills** to optimize manufacturing operations. - **Leadership & team coordination** to manage cross-functional collaboration. - **Strong communication & stakeholder management** to align different departments. - **Understanding of chemical manufacturing processes, safety, and regulatory requirements.**
