The company markets its products under its two global brands – Apollo and Vredestein, and its products are available in over 100 countries through a vast network of branded, exclusive and multi-product outlets. **Job Title**: Manager - TBR Engineering **Location**: Chennai Office **Reports to (Position)**: Group Manager **Department/Function**: TBR Engineering **Purpose of the Job**: Responsible for improving the machine availability and Quality by facilitating the maintenance activities in Extrusion & cutters with Optimum cost with by ensuring safety using engages Employees **Roles & Responsibility:** 1Electrical PM adherence % in BU5~7 2Power Consumption Reduction 3Ensure Breakdown within target. 4Closure of identified special projects /Technology/Improvement Projects 5First aid and Minor Incidents Critical spares availability and Stores & Spares consumption as per budget **Knowledge (Technical / Functional):** Knowledge in Extrusion & cutters Process, PLC/Servo equipment’s programming Knowledge in software’s SAP Good knowledge in Scada & Special controllers (E+L & MT) Knowledge in JH & 5S **Skills** Man management and Inter personal skills Problem solving and decision-making ability. Trouble shooting skills **Relevant Experience**: 10-15 years of experience in rubber industry maintenance field, preferably tyre industry having extensive knowledge in extruders, cutter, bead winding and Apexing & engineering activities. **Education Qualification(s)**: B.E/B.Tech Electrical engineering
